This is a stunning piece that conveys a lot of care and emotion!
It is a very realistic image of Alois that pays close attention to details of natural beauty. The face is all nicely in proportion. While the iris of the eye is enlarged to match the anime style, it still doesn't blow the eyes out of proportion. The integration of the anime eye was a perfect opportunity to add details and see the beauty of the eye, that isn't normally seen in portraits because eyes are normally smaller.

The fading out into light gives an angelic sence of peace that sharply contrasts to the dry blood that was streaming down his face.
The blood however does look very much like ink and only looks a little red under his fringe. However it could represent Alois' long term internal suffering meant that Jim Marken died a long time ago.

You have nailed down that hair very well, it only looses definition under the intensity of the light, but I would not change that, for then you would loose that beutiful impact you have created by using light so dramatically in this image.

The bluring of cream at the end of his eye lashes do make it apear like he has thick eye lashes, I am not sure if that was intentional or not.

I can also see right below the corner of Alois' eyes some skin tone, you have the potential to do one hell of a portrait for another character under normal light.

I rate highly impact, vision and technique and originality 4.
